Sissons Die - The Brains Trust
Hilarious parody of the Daily Mail type reaction to the fact that
newsreader Peter Sissons had the BARE FACED CHEEK to read the news of the Queen
Mother's death without first changing into black (unless you were watching in
black and white of course). Every day the news reports people dying but for some
reason the death of a certain 101 year old lady had the Daily Mail and its ilk
in a humble groveling orgy. It would appear that we are not equal even in death
if you read the Daily Mail.
Queen
Mother Rises from Dead - Hailed as Second Coming
Originally closely spoofing the real BBC website, the author of this site
decided to change the look and feel somewhat after an avalanche of hits from BBC
and law firm IP addresses. Perhaps the BBC should focus on producing unbiased
news (ie DO THEIR JOBS) rather than asking their lawyers to investigate those
that parody the BBC's appallingly sycophantic Royal PR show?
Old
Women in Queen Mum Copycat Dying Craze
Apparently elderly women across the country are deliberately dying in an attempt to mimic there idol her Majesty the Queen Mother.
The
Rockall Times - "Queen Mum Snuffs It"
Another fantastic spoof on the mainstream media's ridiculous coverage of the
Queen Mother's death. In fact it is frighteningly similar to many real
obituaries printed in the tabloids.
10
Things You Genuinely Didn't Know About ......TheQueen Mother
Fantastic Spoof of those "10 things you never knew"-type
column-fillers that they print in The Sun.
The
Queen Mum's Obituary - First on ThroneOut
Okay, it's a blatant plug for one of our own pages but remember we printed this
obituary way back in September 1999. We were the first in the world and you have
to admit, we got it very close to the real thing... if we had managed to mention
that Charles, William and Harry would have to fly back from the inevitable
skiing holiday we would have been spot on.
Seen any other great coverage of this earth-shattering event? Let
us know!
